Denver and KC shows in December postponed!
December 01, 2011
Due to unanticipated circumstances, Flogging Molly has to postpone our last two US dates in 2011,
The December 6th performance at 93.3’s Not So Silent Night in Denver, CO and the December 7th performance at 96.5’s The Buzz The Night the Buzz Stole XMAS in Kansas City, MO will be moved into early 2012.
Our drummer George Schwindt was just informed that, due to unforeseen complications, his wife will need to deliver their first child prematurely. The band will be returning from Europe this week. Upon our arrival, Schwindt will be heading home to be with his wife for the birth. Please note that the prognosis is good and the band fully supports George’s need to be present. Flogging Molly will make up the missed dates for our fans as soon as possible.
The Flobots have stepped in to fill Flogging Molly’s December 6th slot in Denver. We are moving our Colorado performance to March 14 at the Ogden Theater in Denver as part of the Green 17 Tour 2012.
Regarding the December 7th Kansas City date, Flogging Molly is committed to returning for a make-up performance in early 2012. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase. 96.5 The Buzz, Matt & Kim, Company of Thieves and local favorites Antennas UP are committed to making the show happen, and will still perform. The event will now be free event to everyone.
