Flogging Molly supports Oxfam
August 03, 2012
Hello friends,
Please allow me a few seconds of your time to address a few concerns regarding our fundraising campaign with Oxfam. When the campaign was initially posted to the Flogging Molly fan page, there were a few comments that were less than positive. I'd like to take this opportunity to inform you that neither Flogging Molly nor Oxfam 'keep' any of the money raised for this cause. This notion is preposterous and I can assure you that any and all money raised will be going to benefit the food crisis in the Sahel.
For those of you who feel it's helpful to tell us about what other charities you feel are more important and worthy of our support, we encourage you to do exactly what we are doing and begin a fundraiser of your own for the charity that is most important to you. We have chosen Oxfam, a wonderful organization with a proven track record of helping people the world over including extensive work in the United States.
If you are unable to contribute financially, we completely understand. You can also help us by sharing this link.
Thank you for your time and your continued support!
-Bridget Regan
